Cheshire Interior Design Case Study
Throughout this blog post we share Interior Design for new build home, by expanding our Interior Design ideas one of our Cheshire based Interior Design schemes. Our Client had a specific brief for their property and were looking to introduce a dark and timeless colour palette. Whilst maintaining a really sophisticated approach to their home.

Lounge Interior Design Concept
In the lounge are timeless Farrow & Ball colours were specified. These work perfectly with a section of finishes which were proposed for the space.
For us personally we love to stick with a handful of suppliers for our paint colours. This way, we really get to know each supplier and what they’re about. Too much choice can lead to uncertainty. Choose a leading colour expert to really nail your paint colour decision. After all, they really do know best.
We proposed to introduce a dark rug helping to bring in the dark colour pallet which was desired. Furthermore helping to zone the area and add another impressive level of texture and interest.
The layered coffee table effect was a great way of introducing more of those dark tones and a variation in heights. Beautifully accessorised with timeless ceramics.
A Bespoke Artwork commission housed in-between two wall lights and beading, all creating a high end look and feel. We presented all of our local Artists with the Interior Design scheme alongside the finishes and colour palette. This way they can really get to grips with the Clients taste, so that the piece would work perfectly within the situated area.

Not forgetting about the beautifully handmade Roman Blind and Curtains, having these custom made in the right fabrics which sit well with the wall colour, is the perfect way to elevate any interior. Helping to add softness and sophistication. It was really important that we went bespoke here for the window dressings. The areas are large in places and having curtains and blinds which are properly suitable in terms of their finishes, functionality and sizing is really key to elevating any home.

Dining & Family Room Interior Design Concept
Adding a statement chandelier which is elegant and slim in design which meant we were able to keep the drop quite low which was a gorgeous statement above the dining table.
Two occasional chairs were introduced with a coffee table for our Client to enjoy a coffee with family members.
A rug helped soften this casual seating area, helping to make it feel more inviting in what is quite a hard space with hard finishes as this particular area back off the kitchen dining area.
Paired with a bespoke console table with a pouf and ceramics. Another Bespoke Artwork commission can be seen by a local artist to really help bring the space to life and create interest.
Hall, Stairs & Landing Interior Design Concept
Within the Hall, Stairs and Landing a statement chandelier in the double height space above the stairs can be seen whilst walking up and down the oak stairs. Majority of the Hallway was taken up by doorways, therefore not much wall space for Interior ideas. Introducing this statement chandelier was a key design decision that was a great success in this area. An off-white paint colour was also introduced, which flows through most of the rooms throughout the house. Finally, the doors and staircase are finished in oak, which is a really nice touch throughout the home. This was something we were keen to keep as this gave the house an added feeling of warmth and a more high quality look.

Master Bedroom Interior Design Concept
Within the Master Bedroom a slightly darker Farrow & Ball paint colour was agreed to go with the dark wood and marble furniture. Helping to create an ambient and sophisticated room.
A beautiful oak end of bed bench was introduced and styled perfectly with blankets and books, making use of an otherwise dead space. Which will also used for additional seating when our Clients host their family and friends.
Guest Bedroom Interior Design Concept
Finally, the guest bedroom is a serene neutral and natural scheme. This includes light textured fabrics and furniture to help create a relaxing space for family members when they come to stay.
Artwork and Antique mirror was also commissioned by local artists. Helping to introduce an impressive feature on the headboard wall and bring the space to life.
